Jewish life at the JCC
Re-Imagining Jewish Engagement
Imagine a JCC in which we are even more intentional about the Jewish values we integrate into our everyday programming for toddlers, youth, teens, adults and seniors.
Imagine a JCC in which teens from across the Jewish community, from a wide variety of synagogues, organizational affiliations and backgrounds, gather together to CONNECT, LEAD, LEARN AND REPAIR.
Imagine a JCC that is a part of a network of teen leaders, Jewish organizations, youth professionals and lay leaders who strengthen the community together in a college-Hillel-like structure.
Imagine a JCC that provides dedicated Jewish teen space that is a hybrid of a coffee shop and a college lounge on the Second Floor of the Robinson Building.
Imagine with us a Department of Jewish Life that is committed to disciplined experimentation in an evolving 21st century Greater Pittsburgh Jewish Community.
As the Prophet Joel teaches: “It will come about after this that I will pour out My Spirit on all humankind; and your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old will dream dreams, your young will see visions.” This is a moment for us to dream and envision together, to advance our collective mission of building Jewish community together, in partnership across our community.
Host Our Israeli Shlichim
JCC Day Camps are welcoming Israeli camp staff back to our community. We are searching for families to host our Shlichim and make them feel like part of the family!
